Started his musical career in 1968 first recording band was in 1971 and that record made #30 on billboard magazine.from there Joey the Magic Bubble with brother and sister Frank and Rita Rondell who actually  Frank and Rita Chiarelli  .The bubble had a hit called I'm Alive in the Columbia label.From that band he went on to play in different bands and different genres so he has acquired a style of playing that is solid and groove oriented some say he has a Detroit Shuffle as Amos Garrett put it.over the years he has graced many stages and worked with ,The belairs, and Kenny Blues Boss Wayne , Jack Semple, Johnny V, Big Dave McLean, Amos Garrett, Kelly Jay, George Taylor, Russell Jackson, these are to name a few along with Donald Ray Johnson, and other great musicians. He continues to back up people and is often at Blues on Whyte working behind someone. A;so has his own band called the Collective which is a seasoned group of musucians . There are a lot more but its a long list , a seasoned drummer , musical drummer that knows his way around a drum kit ,.
